3. How we collect it

  • Directly from you — when you fill in a form, book a call, subscribe, create an account, sign an engagement, or email us.
  • Automatically — through cookies, analytics, and tracking pixels when you use the Site (see Section 6).
  • From third parties — such as analytics providers, advertising platforms, and tools you authorize us to access to perform our services (e.g., your e-commerce analytics).

4. How we use your information

  • To provide, operate, and improve our Services and the Site;
  • To respond to enquiries, schedule calls, and deliver proposals;
  • To perform our contracts with clients, including delivering CRO work and reporting;
  • To process payments, issue invoices, and manage our accounts;
  • To create and administer client portal accounts;
  • To send you our newsletter, updates, and marketing (where permitted);
  • To measure and analyze Site performance and engagement;
  • To maintain security, prevent fraud, and enforce our terms;
  • To comply with legal, tax, and regulatory obligations.

Where GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases:

  • Contract — to provide Services you have requested or to take steps before entering a contract.
  • Legitimate interests — to run and grow our business, secure our systems, and communicate with prospective clients, provided these interests are not overridden by your rights.
  • Consent — for optional marketing emails and non-essential cookies. You may withdraw consent at any time.
  • Legal obligation — to meet accounting, tax, and other legal requirements.

6. Cookies & tracking technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to run the Site, remember your preferences, and measure how visitors move through our pages. These may include:

  • Essential cookies — required for the Site and portal to function.
  • Analytics cookies — Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, which measures page views and how visitors move through the Site so we can improve it.
  • Advertising cookies — the Meta Pixel, which measures the results of our ads on Facebook and Instagram and lets us show ads to people who have visited the Site.

You can control cookies through your browser settings, and where required we ask for your consent before setting non-essential (analytics and advertising) cookies. Blocking some cookies may affect how the Site works. For full detail on the specific cookies we set and how to manage them, see our Cookie Policy.

7. How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed with:

  • Service providers / processors who help us operate, such as hosting, email, analytics, scheduling, CRM, and payment providers. Representative examples: Stripe and Paddle (payments), Netlify (website hosting), Google (analytics), Meta (advertising measurement), Calendly (scheduling), and our email and CRM providers.
  • Professional advisers such as accountants and lawyers, where necessary.
  • Authorities when required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect our rights.
  • Business transfers in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

We require our processors to protect your information and to use it only to provide services to us.

8. Payments

Payments are processed by third-party payment providers (for example, Stripe and Paddle). We do not store full payment card numbers on our systems. Where a provider such as Paddle acts as merchant of record, your purchase is made through that provider, and its terms and privacy policy also apply to the transaction. Your card and billing data are handled by the payment provider under their own terms and privacy policy, and are subject to industry security standards (PCI-DSS). We receive limited transaction information such as confirmation of payment, the last four digits of the card, and billing name.

9. Client portal & accounts

If you use our client portal, we process the account and project data described above to give you access, deliver our Services, and maintain records. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

10. Marketing & email communications

Where required, we send marketing emails and our newsletter only with your consent or where otherwise permitted by law. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time by clicking it or emailing lars@lpgdigital.com. We may still send you non-marketing service messages (for example, about your account, billing, or an active engagement).

11. International data transfers

We operate globally and may transfer, store, and process your information in countries other than your own, including where our service providers are located. Where we transfer personal data out of the EU/UK, we use appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (and the UK Addendum) or transfers to countries with an adequacy decision. You can request a copy of the safeguards we use by contacting us.

12. Data retention

We keep personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this Policy, including to meet legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. Retention periods vary by data type — for example, we keep billing records for the period required by tax law, and we delete or anonymize inactive marketing contacts and project data when they are no longer needed. When information is no longer required, we securely delete or anonymize it.

13. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, or alteration. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

14. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights over your personal information:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
  • Rectification — correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • Erasure — ask us to delete your data in certain circumstances;
  • Restriction — ask us to limit processing;
  • Portability — receive your data in a portable format;
  • Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests or to direct marketing;
  • Withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent.

To exercise any right, contact us at lars@lpgdigital.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by law. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

15. Notice for California residents

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use and disclose it, to request access to and deletion of that information, to correct inaccurate information, and not to be discriminated against for exercising your rights. We do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA. To exercise your rights, contact us at lars@lpgdigital.com. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf, subject to verification.

16. Children's privacy

Our Services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

17. Third-party links

The Site may link to third-party websites and services we do not control. This Policy does not apply to those sites, and we are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Please review their policies before providing personal information.

18. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where changes are material, take reasonable steps to notify you. Your continued use of the Services after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
